Biography

I am the Founder of Alleyne&, an organisation which combines a strategic thinking consultancy and cultural incubator. Our mission is to create more equitable spaces. Our incubator explores the big questions affecting society. Currently our research is around power, difference and inequality. My research topic is Neurology of Power. I am exploring the brain's relationship to power neurologically, who has it, who doesn't and how that impacts equitability.

The Fellowship enables visits to international experts and laboratories facilitating the in-person dialogue required due to the depth of the topic, as well as my neuro differences. The themes of my research were inspired whilst jointly undertaking my master's degree in arts and cultural management and being an Arts Council England Change Maker.

My Fellowship has aided my access to academics and institutions globally. People like me don't get to do the work I am doing due to glass ceilings, access requirements, resources and networks. This Fellowship supports me to continue and evolve my work supporting organisations and individuals who want to contribute to a more equitable society.
