Lisa Baum

Lisa is a geography teacher with a passion for cycling, exploration and educationa. She combined all three for her Fellowship and cycled to the Arctic Circle to inspire her inner-city pupils to get on their bikes and get engaged. Lisa's blog was tracked by her pupils and she hopes to feed her experiences into Duke of Edinburgh schemes and to encourage more cycling in general.
 

Lesley Gale

Lesley leads the Brit Chicks, skydiving team and travelled to America to learn more about building large formation skydiving records. We're now hoping for some new British records!
 

Esther McCall

Esther McCall lead a group of 30 school children to Zambia to carry out a community-based project near Livingstone. The expedition included some recreational travel and a lot of hard work and life enhancing experiences. Since returning, Esther and her group have been awarded a Diana Certificate of Excellence for being good role models in terms of service to their school/community.
 

Kate Bassett-Jones

Kate is a teacher of Biology and Environmental Science and led a group of 14 school children from Wales on a jungle expedition to Madagascar . Many of the pupils had never been outside Wales and Kate hoped that the trip would inspire them in their studies and enourage them to help protect the world in which we live. The expedition involved jungle and river trekking and community and wildlife projects, as well as some sight-seeing.
 

Fiona Wood

Fiona travelled to Australia where she visited and observed at schools and outdoor centres across the country. She wanted to develop her knowledge and understanding in the field of children's outdoor education for sustainability.
