Tim Latham

Tim is a small business trainer and consultant and travelled to the USA to interview the leaders of game changing businesses, both new and more established, to pinpoint the key attributes, skills and tools employed by successful US entrepreneurs.
 

Matt Wilkinson

Matt was an aspiring bicycle framebuilder when he applied for a Fellowship. He returned armed with lots of new knowledge and inspiration from independent frame builders in the USA and now has his own workshop. Matt's aim is to keep traditional frame building alive in the UK, where it once flourished by is now under threat from cheap eastern imports and at the same time, provide jobs locally.
 

Paul McMinn

Paul applied for a Fellowship to visit the North Carolina Department of Corrections. His interest was the enterprise they've establised to provide people with low skills sets, who often have no work experience, with the experience and skills needed to attain and maintain a job in a competitive marketplace. Paul wanted to use what he's learnt back in Northern Ireland to help disadvantaged young offenders.

 

Anthony Cowan

Tony travelled to the States to meet and learn from the United States Civil Air Patrol. Back in the UK he's involved with establishing and expanding Sky Watch Civil Air Patrol, the British equivalent. The goal is to attain the same recognition for Sky Watch as the RNLI and the civilian mountain rescue teams already have.

 

Louise Gimson

Louise Gimson went to America to research what makes female entrepreneurs successful.
