The Winston Churchill Memorial Trust offers Fellowships to British Citizens resident in the UK and from all walks of life to acquire knowledge and experience abroad*.
The Fellowship offers a unique opportunity to travel overseas and explore areas of mutual interest. Many of our 4000 Fellows have reported that the Award has opened doors that otherwise would have remained firmly shut. For many the experience has been truly LIFE CHANGING. Read our newsletters here to find out more.
'The reputation of Sir Winston Churchill and the Memorial Trust opened doors which would not have been available to me simply as an interested healthcare professional from the UK' - David Jeffery, Fellow 2006.
The Trust is really ‘inclusive’ – the oldest Fellow was 80 when he successfully applied. Fellows come from all backgrounds and ethnic groups, and include those with disabilities. Don’t worry if this year’s topics are not of interest – you can always look again next year as they change annually.
90 new Fellowships have been awarded for 2008 and those selected are shown on the attached link. Categories for 2009 will be announced on 2nd June 2008 together with an on-line application form. Please register now to receive more information at this time.
