The Fellowship allowed Tanni to travel to Australia in order to research the athlete development pathway and coach education system used at that time. She was based with a training group in Perth which was managed by Jenni Banks, widely regarded as one of the most successful coaches in the world. Jenni worked with athletes from grass roots through to international level, and was also responsible for setting up many of the structures that helped Australia achieve great international success on the track and road. Jenni Banks was an integral part of the Paralympic structures for many years. |
