Feminist strategies in the Islamic world

Fellow of 2009, Faisal Al Yafai, has gone to Beirut to position himself for his Fellowship in Saudi Arabia, Iran, Pakistan and Indonesia. He will be researching feminist strategies in the Islamic world and outlines his thoughts and observations so far in an op-ed for The National, an Emirates daily. Follow the Kapersky Lab Commonwealth Antarctic Expedition!

In 2008 Felicity Aston visited 8 Commonwealth countries on a Fellowship to select a women's Antarctic team. The team of women from Brunei, Cyprus, Singapore, New Zealand, India and the UK started walking on 18th November and safely reached the Antarctic on 29th December 2009. Fellowship contributes to a new development for the FSS

The Forensic Science Service will now enlist the help of Natural History Museum scientists, partly as a result of the Fellowship findings of Dr Andrew Hart. The Times Online reports.
 

Fellow creates website for the UK meat industry

Ralph Wilson, Fellow of 1982 who travelled to the USA to look at animal handling techniques and the effects on subsequent meat quality, has recently created a website for his latest writing about the meat industry.
