Report launch: Global learning in building better communities

The Winston Churchill Memorial Trust and The Rank Foundation will be launching their first joint report at Portcullis House, House of Commons, on Thursday 9th June 2016, kindly sponsored by Frank Field MP.

Building Better Communities through Global Learning will draw together over three years of global research by over 50 Churchill Fellows - innovators, frontline practitioners and academics. The report will cover a broad range of community development themes, from housing to mental health, gender-based violence to enterprise, community cohesion and engagement to youth support.

Following the inspiring practice they witnessed on their travels, Churchill Fellows are developing and strengthening their communities across the UK by drawing on their learnings and providing new solutions to old problems. Individually and collectively they are driving innovation and positive change.

Building Better Communities through Global Learning will be published in the Communities of Practice area of our website. The report launch is expected to be attended by MPs, policy makers, local authorities, charities and practitioners.
