Each year we run three Saturday outings; one in late spring, an annual Derbyshire Dales walk, with long and short options, and a late summer outing followed by our annual dinner. Because many people have busy weekends we also offer three 'local' Friday evening meetings. A Fellow from the area chooses a suitable hostelry and we meet for an informal bar meal and chat. We would be delighted if Fellows from other areas would like to join us. Our walk in the Derbyshire Dales is nearer to people in the south of the Pennines area and the North East of West Midlands, add to this Manchester and we might be able to offer an enjoyable day out. We are aware that we have only a few Fellows in North Lincolnshire and South Northamptonshire and would be delighted if Fellows from over the border would like to join us when we offer local meets in the area.

In a break from tradition the annual dinner will be replaced by a lunch at the Leicestershire Golf Club lunch for EMA members and their friends. The Golf Club is on the southern edge of Leicester. There are various attractions one could visit before or afterwards. The Botanical Gardens are nearby and the Space Centre in the north of the city is well worth a visit. The cost of the lunch will be in the region of £12-15.
