We're hiring a Content Editor
Published: 31 Oct 2019
We're looking for a buzzy communicator to tell our inspiring stories to the world.
Salary £30-35,000, based in Westminster.
We're looking for an outstanding creative to join our growing communications operation at an exciting moment.
The Churchill Fellowship funds inspiring individuals to travel the world in search of solutions for today’s most pressing problems. Our Fellows research the UK’s key challenges – marine pollution, gang crime, food poverty, homelessness and more. They come back with new ideas to make change happen in their professions and communities, transforming lives in every area of society.
We are well-established, prestigious and ready to grow our profile. This is a new post in a small and busy team. Joining at a time of innovation and change, it is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in an evolving area.
As Content Editor, you will help to define a new content strategy across all channels. You will manage our website and social media, commission blogs and podcasts, write and edit articles, and develop our use of photos and film. Working closely with the Communications Director, you will be central to three landmark projects in the year ahead: rebranding the charity, rebuilding the website and launching a new engagement strategy.
The ideal candidate will be experienced at managing a powerful content strategy, skilled at writing sparkling copy, and comfortable with growing our digital marketing. Above all, you will be passionate about finding and telling great stories in words and images.
We have a wealth of amazing stories based on hundreds of Fellows’ achievements. We need you to tell the world. If you’re an ‘ideas person’ with creative flair and a social conscience, we’d like to hear from you.
"This is a Rolls-Royce organisation." - Nick Danziger, international photojournalist, Churchill Fellow
