Covid-19 Action Fund
Building recovery and resilience across the UK
Our Covid-19 Action Fund provides grants for Churchill Fellows to increase their vital contribution to the national effort against Covid-19. It offers one-off grants of up to £10,000 and collects lessons learnt for future use.
The first round of this fund, in the summer of 2020, focussed on emergency response projects in the UK. At the height of the crisis, it awarded £155,000 of grants to Fellows’ projects in a wide range of UK sectors. You can read about them here.
The second round, this autumn, supports longer term renewal projects. We are funding far-reaching proposals that will promote social and economic recovery, reconstruction or future prevention. Applications for this round have now closed. A third round will open in early 2021.
We welcome donations to this emergency fund. So far we have invested £250,000 in the Fund and raised a further £150,000 from supporters, other trusts and foundations and Fellows themselves.
