East Anglia Association event
Join the East Anglia Association of Churchill Fellows for an event at Reepham on Saturday 22 September 2018.
The event will take place in Reepham. The town has three churches in its churchyard: St Mary's (used for worship) stands adjacent to St Michael's (used for worship and as a community hall), beside the ruins of All Saints.
The event will begin at 10.30am at St Michael's Church, Reepham. Lunch will be a buffet in the King's Arms, a local pub close by St. Michael's, and the cost of the whole day will be £10 per person. There are limited parking spaces close to the church, but free parking is available in the Station Road car park at NR10 4LF, which is a short walk through the alley to the Market Place.
We hope to have a local guide give us an explanation of how this town came to have three churches in one churchyard. A Fellow will speak about the stonemasonry repairs they carried out recently to the tower of St Mary's and another Fellow will speak about their Fellowship.
If you would like to attend, please contact Peter Hesketh, Secretary of East Anglia Association and he will send you further details.
