East Midlands Association of Churchill Fellows' Country Walk

Join the East Midlands Association of Churchill Fellows for a country walk which will involve spectacular views over the Derwent valley on Saturday 21 April.

There are two separate walks available to choose from:

  • A five mile walk over the Chevin ridgeway and down to Belper Mills, which includes one steep hill. If choosing to go on this walk you should bring a picnic lunch.
  • A shorter, less difficult walk of one to two miles through Belper and the intriguing industrial housing built by the Strutts and on to Belper Mills (all a World Heritage site). There will be a cafe lunch for those choosing to go on this walk.

Those joining either walk should meet at the Coppice car park in Belper by 11:00am. The two groups will meet up for tea at about 3.30pm.

There is no charge for either walk, but you should confirm your attendance by sending an email to Ken Parker at [email protected] by Monday 16 April 2018.
