North West Association event

The North West Association is holding a summer afternoon family event on Saturday 8th June, 1-4pm at St. John’s Church Hall, Irlam Road, Urmston, M41 6AP.

Circus performer Owen Gaynor (2003 Fellow) will be giving a presentation - “How did you end up doing that?!” – shedding light on his journey to become a circus practitioner and the part WCMT played in it, while sharing a little about the world of social circus and the important part it plays in many people’s lives.
Following the presentation, Owen will be running an open circus skills workshop suitable for all ages (3+ years), which will give families and interested adults the chance to try a range of fun and accessible circus skills. Owen has over 20 years of experience of delivering circus skills workshops.

Juggling, diablo, hula hoop, spinning plates…come along with your families and join in or be an impressed spectator!

Young children attending have the opportunity to keep busy at an art table during the presentation.

Following the workshop we will have a Summer Afternoon Tea. If the weather is good please bring a picnic mat as we can eat in the private garden.

Remember to dress in comfortable clothing.
