Planning your Fellowship travels - webinar for Fellows
All Churchill Fellows who are yet to complete their travels are invited to our free webinar on ‘Planning your Fellowship travels’, on Thursday 21 March.
This is an opportunity for Fellows to get detailed advice on how to start planning your travels. If you are yet to travel and are either encountering difficulties or you don’t feel confident about part of your itinerary, then you may find this webinar particularly useful.
This live online event will be hosted by Sara Venerus, WCMT’S Fellowship Support Manager and point of contact for all Fellows who are travelling or preparing to travel. The webinar will include information on:
- Finalising your itinerary, what you need to include and how to approach it.
- How best to approach your potential hosts, overcoming cultural differences and using the Churchill Fellowship to open doors.
- Overcoming language barriers, including making the best use of translators and interpreters.
After the discussion, you will have a chance to ask Sara questions.
We are running the webinar at 1pm on 21 March and it will last about 45 minutes.
Before joining the webinar, you may find it useful to read the Fellows’ Handbook.
If you are interested in joining online, please contact Ben Anstis, Communications Officer, in advance on 020 7799 1678 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
