Community Kitchens: from Genesis and History to Delivery

This report explores the world of communal dining and feeding in Peru, where - as an approach to food poverty - the 'comedores populares' movement enjoys popular acclaim and state support. Outlining the history, politics and economics of a more sustainable and community based approach to food poverty in Latin America, it contains key recommendations for the alleviation of food poverty in Britain.
