Since a young age I’ve always been involved in something “extra” from school council to community projects. I currently lead various marketing campaigns to get people excited about Makers Academy, a 12 week coding course. I’m passionate about changing lives and empowering more minorities and women into technology. To do that I co-founded MuslmaicMakers a meetup for muslims working in tech. This has led me to receiving this fellowship to travel to Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates and the USA to explore the potential for greater participation in the technology sector among Muslim women. Beyond the world of startups and technology. I graduated in Media and Communication at Goldsmiths College, University Of London; I love Public speaking, filmmaking, campaigning.
