I'm a dad (to 3 awesome boys), husband and Paramedic. I'm lucky enough to live by the sea in Devon and am currently the Specialist Lead for Critical Care in the South Western Ambulance NHS Trust and Specialist Paramedic-Critical Care for Great Western Air Ambulance in Bristol. I'm passionate about developing patient care, especially the management. Of the critically ill patients attended to by our teams. I was fortunate to receive a Fellowship Award allowing me to work with and learn from the internationally renown paramedic led critical care teams in Australasia. My travels took me to Melbourne, where I spent time with the Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance (MICA) teams and also the High Acuity Response Unit (HARU) teams in Brisbane. Finally I travelled to New Zealand to work with the Intensive scare Paramedics in St Johns Ambulance Service. It was an incredible experience and has certainly helped develop practice and improve care in the UK.
