With a background in behavioural science, psychotherapy, anthropology and sociology, I work as a one-to-one confidant to executives in the commercial, government, and non-profit sectors. A people-person, I am appreciated for my ability to see the possibility and potential in situations, and helping others to share that vision. Over the years, I have written nine textbooks, and a lot of articles. In parallel, I devised and lead the University of Oxford's external-facing coaching programmes, lecture part-time in leadership, management and business at The Oxfordshire Business and Enterprise School. I chaired two health-related charities for a decade or so, have led a couple of substantial research-related projects for professional bodies, and was volunteer lead for research for the Royal Life Saving Society UK. A researcher in photography at the University of Gloucestershire, I teach the subject at FE/HE levels, and am volunteer sub-editor of the RPS Decisive Moment magazine.
