Karen has worked with more than 1000 social entrepreneurs to grow and scale businesses to change the world. An experienced professional consultant, Karen enjoys working with social enterprises, community organisations, development trusts, housing associations, co-operatives and charities to develop sustainable organisations through innovative methods of growth, franchising/replication and buying profitable private businesses as well as investment readiness support. As a member of the faculty at Cambridge Judge Business School Centre for Social Innovation she supports social ventures through the Social Venture Weekend and the Social Venture Incubator. She also works directly with organisations and through a number of organisations like UnLtd, Inspiring Scotland, Institute for Social Entrepreneurs and Big Potential. Her projects utilise her experience gained in working in the private sector (starting in 1987) in a variety of roles across various sectors.
