Kirsten is the National Naloxone Coordinator at Scottish Drugs Forum. She has a background in mental health nursing and is currently responsible for the coordination of the Scottish Government’s National Naloxone Programme which includes membership of several national groups; The National Forum on Drug-Related Deaths, National Naloxone Advisory Group, Scottish Naloxone Network, National Prisoner Healthcare Network Expert Advisory Group for Medicines and Scottish Needle Exchange Workers Forum. She was also part of the WHO guidelines development group for the Community Management of Opioid Overdose.
