Maria Gasparian is an architect and a ceramic designer based in London. Maria worked on a number of high profile mixed-use developments and public spaces in the UK and Russia. Other architectural projects included smaller scale educational, healthcare and residential schemes. Maria’s multidisciplinary practice combines architecture, art and design with a particular focus on integration of ceramics on architectural scale in buildings and public spaces. The aim is to provide multisensory experiences through tactile and coloured ceramic interventions such as street furniture, decorative surfaces and elements for landscaping and buildings that will create unique, socially inclusive and engaging public spaces. Maria's Masters Project Colour Ceramic City was awarded Unilever Sustainability Award and Mullen Lowe Nova runner up award in 2016.
